Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step bending method which during step bending on a plate-like workpiece, can easily correspond to a plate thickness of the workpiece and an inclination angle of a step portion; and to provide a step bending mold.SOLUTION: In a step bending method, at least one of upper and lower rollers 29 and 47 provided on an upper mold 3 and a lower mold 5 respectively moves in an axial direction, and after adjusting an interval in the axial direction between large diameter parts 29A and 47A in the upper and lower rollers 29 and 47, step bending on a workpiece W is performed. A step bending mold has the rollers with step 29 and 47 rotatably provided on the upper mold 3 and the lower mold 5 vertically facing each other respectively, and at least one of the rollers with step 29 and 47 on the upper and lower mold 3 and 5 is provided in such a manner that its position is adjusted in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
