STAGGER SHAPE IN SIDE SURFACE OF CAR BODY OF HIGH-SPEED VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reduction of an aerodynamic ambient noise by seeing to it that a side entrance of high-speed vehicle and stagger parts of window that is dented inward from side surface of car body are made oval arc that has a long distance direction of vehicle as the longitudinal axis.
SOLUTION: In a side entrance, an airtight member 6 is mounted on a side entrance frame 4 at both sides of vehicle entrance, and the entrance is composed so that a side sliding door 3 is slidden to the entrance, and pushed to the side entrance frame 4 by a side sliding door holding cylinder 8. Between an outer surface of a car body 10 and the outer surface 3a of side sliding door 3, a stagger is formed, to which a stagger member 5 that is press worked is fixed to this stagger part by a bolt 7. At the time of travel when the side sliding door 3 is closed, in this stagger member 5, the shape of cross-section is formed nearly 1/4 of oval arc that has the longitudinal axis as the outer surface of the side sliding door 3 from the outer surface of the car body 10 and the outer surface 3a of the side sliding door 3. In this way, an ambient noise due to an aerodynamic sound can be reduced.
