PURPOSE: To simplify constructing work by composing staggered type pitching stone- pitching platters, of the grain-shaped objects of crushed stones or the like having grain size, and joint members for forming them integrally, and by shaping contours faced to the sides of the stone pitching plates of the grain-shaped objects, along the sides of the stone pitching plates.

CONSTITUTION: Grain-shaped objects 2 are formed with reference stones 2a to be arranged on the centers of stone pitching plates 1, edge shaping stones 2b, 2c to be arranged on the peripheries of the reference stones 2a, to surround the reference stones 2a, and miniature joint-filling stones for filling joints between said stones. Then, with the reference stones 2a as centers, the edge shaping stones 2b, 2c are arranged so that the whole bodies may be hexagonal, and spaces between the stones are filled up with joint members 3, and they are integrally formed. Besides, the work of a foundation section is executed and after that, the respective sides of the stone pitching plates 1 are butted to each other and are laid, and the joint sections between the stone pitching plates 1 are filled up with cement mortar of laying sand, and a subbase course is paved. As a result, laying work is simplified, and stone pitching can be performed on staggered design, and the whole appearance can be improved.
