Title:
STAIN-PROOF SYNTHETIC FIBER FABRIC AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3852156
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stain-proofing synthetic fiber fabric that retains excellent water and oil repellency even after being subjected to repeated rubbing and is also excellent in removal of oily and aqueous stains on washing or wiping, so-called 'hard to stained and easy to remove the stain, if any'.
SOLUTION: This stain-proofed synthetic fiber fabric has the coating layer, on its synthetic fibers, the stain-resistant components containing a mixture of a hydrophilic segment-bearing fluorine water- and oil-repellent oil with a hydrophobic fluorine water- and oil-repellent oil at a weight ratio of (35-65)/(65-35) and 1-15 wt.%, based on the mixture, of a curing agent, in an amount of 1-2 wt.% based on the fiber weight. According to this production process, stain-proofed synthetic fiber fabrics with a water-repellency durability of ≥ grade 3 and oil-repellency durability of ≥ grade 2 can be produced.
