Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a hetero-phase copolymer by which the stain of a reactor during polymerization is suppressed.SOLUTION: In the method for producing a hetero-phase copolymer such as a propylene-ethylene copolymer by two-step polymerization, a stain-proofing agent is introduced into a secondary polymerization reactor operated in series with a first polymerization reactor. The antifouling agent may be a multi-component stain-proofing agent and/or a coating agent. The multicomponent stain-proofing agent is made of an active limitation agent and a selectivity control agent made of alkoxysilane expressed by general formula SiRm(OR'). By the feed of the stain-proofing agent, the stain of the reactor during polymerization is suppressed, and the production of a hetero-phase copolymer having a rubber content of about 10 to 50% is made possible.
