Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method effectively preventing dry part areas, at least the surface of cylindrical dryers, from being stained even without a spray space in a paper machine.
SOLUTION: The method for preventing a contact part of a paper body being stained in the dry part D of the paper machine comprises continuous feed/application of a stain inhibitor T to the paper body at a position just before the dry parts. A stain inhibitor film is formed on the paper body by applying the stain inhibitor to the paper body at the position just before the dry parts, and particles of foreign matters are sealed in the paper body. The stain prevention is carried out by the formation of the sealing film on the paper body which inhibits direct contact of the foreign particles to the parts where the paper body contacts, for example on the surface of the cylindrical dryers, and transfer of the particles is inhibited, thus the staining of the cylindrical dryer is prevented.
