To provide a stainless steel band smoothening facility and a smoothening method which can contrive an improvement of productivity and a cost reduction not by a means of a conventional temper rolling machine but by smoothening a stainless steel band with a usage of a smoothening roll facility suitable for crashing a convex part of a ground scratch caused by a grind lower, and, further, by combining this smoothening facility in a grind facility line so as to smoothen the ground scratch simultaneously with a grinding operation.
In a stainless steel band grinding line, this stainless steel band ground scratch smoothening facility is arranged at a discharging side comprising, pressing rolls 1 being installed at upper and bottom parts in a way to sandwich the steel band for smoothening a ground scratch, intermediate rolls 2 facing with the pressing rolls 1 for transferring a broken away waste, and sticking rolls 3 facing with the intermediate rolls 2 for removing the broken away waste.
