Abstract:
To provide stainless steel which can be manufactured with high productivity while highly achieving basic characteristics required for a conductive component, that is, which is excellent in economic efficiency.
The stainless steel includes a stainless steel base material having a chemical composition containing Cu of 1.0-4.5% or less, and a passivation film and a conductive substance containing Cu derived from the stainless steel base material, both of which are formed on a surface of the steel base material. The stainless steel base material includes, by mass%, the chemical composition. The conductive material contains Cu derived from the stainless steel base material, and is electrically connected to the stainless steel base material.
