Title:
STAINLESS STEEL FOR MOLTEN SALT ELECTROLYZING ELECTRODE EXCELLENT IN CORROSION RESISTANCE AND ELECTRIC CONDUCTIVITY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3565661
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a stainless steel for molten salt electrolyzing electrode excellent in corrosion resistance and and electric conductivity in molten salt.
SOLUTION: By incorporating a stainless steel with, by weight, ≤0.15% C, ≤1.0% Si, ≤2.0% Mn, ≤0.20% P, ≤0.05 S, 15 to 50% Cr, 10 to 45% Ni and 2.5 to 7.0% Al and, if required, furthermore with one or more kinds among ≤1.0% Ti, ≤1.0% Nb, ≤0.1% Y and ≤0.5% rare earths, corrosion resistance and electric conductivity can be imparted thereto.
