Abstract:
To provide a stair tread made by laminating MDF to the surface of a core member such as plywood or the like, adhering a decorative sheet to the surface of the MDF, making a chamfered portion at the corner of the stair tread main body sloped from the decorative sheet to the MDF thereby absorbing noisy footsteps without degrading the neatness of the chamfered portion of the treads.
MDF 2 is laminated on the surface of the core member 1 made of structural plywood or the like, a corner portion 6 of the main body 5 for stair tread with a decorative sheet 4 adhered to the surface 3 of the MDF 2 which is sloped and formed to a chamfered portion 7 from the decorative sheet 4 to the MDF 2.
