PURPOSE: To devise a stairway walking cart to easily go up and down a stairway with loading on it and to use it as a cart as usual on a flat ground.

CONSTITUTION: Beams long enough to straddle two steps or more of a stairway are provided, and wheels are connected on both ends of each of the beams. One pair is made by using two pieces of these beams, and it is assembled in parallel like a ladder by two pieces of cranks. The cranks extend outside of the beams and the outside parts are cranked as inside parts and they are respectively connected to support bars 4. The support bar 4 in the neighbourhood of a center is long and it is a handle of a pushcart. Consequently, when this device is reciprocally made to advance in such a way to walk a ladder by way of holding a grip part 7, it is possible to move it as walking on skis and to make it go up and down the stairway.
