A stamp is configured to freely return by sliding a slide cover unit 5 covering a stamping surface to a body holder 2 fitted with a stamp body 3 by biasing force of a return spring 6. The body holder 2 comprises an outer tube 2a and an inner tube 2b. The stamp body 3 having a substantially straight tubular shape is fitted into the inner tube 2b, and the slide cover unit 5 fitted into a gap 2c between the outer tube 2a and the inner tube 2b having a plurality of elastic locking pieces 20 formed thereon is configured to be freely rotatable. A lock mechanism 4 is provided, which switches the slide cover unit 5 and the body holder 2 between a stamping slidable state and a slide lock state by the rotation of the slide cover unit 5.
