Title:
STAND-BY SUPPORTING DEVICE FOR THERMAL SPRAY HEAD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3568113
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise leaking out from a thermal spraying performing space.
SOLUTION: The stand-by supporting device for a thermal spray head is provide with the following: a heat-resistant member 52 which holds a head end plate 1t of a thermal spray head 1 for forming a sprayed deposit by the jetting of a high temperature airflow onto a basis material as an object of thermal spraying and has an opening 51 larger than a high temperature airflow jetting port and smaller than the head end plate 1t; a resilient seal 53 having an inside space with a diameter larger than that of the opening 51 and supporting the heat-resistant member 52; and a cylindrical member 55 having an open end 54 supporting the heat-resistant member 52 via the seal 53. The other open end of the cylindrical member 55 is connected to a dust collection duct 7. The cylindrical member 55 has a water passage 56 for passing cooling water. The inside of the seal 53 is covered with a smaller-diameter cylinder at the upper end of the cylindrical member 55, and the outside is covered with a heat-insulation cap 59.
