Abstract:

PURPOSE: To sandwichedly fix a lens at an inclined angle always corresponding to the curved face of the lens, and easily drill the fitting holes of the temple, the pad, and the like of the inclined angle corresponding to the curved face of the lens for spectacles by the use of a simple boring machine.

CONSTITUTION: A U-shaped sandwiching frame 6 of which opposed walls are horizontally provided up and down is fixed to a post 3 standingly provided on base 1, a cylindrical body 7 for inserting a drill is fixed on the upper opposed wall of the frame 6, and a lens sandwiching shaft 8 of which the top end face 11 is formed into a curved face and the axis part is penetrated with a drill inserting hole 12 is threadedly fitted to the lower opposed wall of the frame 6 capably of being threadedly advanced or retreated, and opposed to the cylindrical body 7 on the upper opposed wall. By rotationally movably adjusting a handle 13 integratedly provided on the lower end part of the shaft 8, a lens is sandwichedly fixed at the inclined angle corresponding to the curved face between the top end face 11 of the shaft 8 and the cylindrical body 7.
