The stand comprises a first holder to hold the object to be looked or the board to place the object to be looked, an arm to support the first holder, and an arm holder to support the base end of the arm. The first holder is mounted near the end of the arm so that it can freely turn around a predetermined axis line and can be freely attached and detached. It has an inclined surface that abuts on the back of the object to be looked or the board to place the object to be looked. The first holder has a structure that can detach the first holder from the vicinity of the arm end and attach it again near the arm end in the reverse attitude of one end and the other end of the axis line of the first holder.
