To provide a small, compact and portable stand for a portable telephone set which surely supports a portable telephone set, on which the portable telephone set is mounted such that a prescribed side face of the portable telephone set with a display screen and a camera mounted is oriented at a prescribed angle of elevation.

A leg part 200 is pivotally supported by a shaft part 102 and a bearing part 201, for a mounting board part 100 provided with a projection part 103 processed in a shape so as to be insertable into a connection interface of the portable telephone set. When the portable telephone set is used, the leg part is turned to expose the projection part 103, the connection interface of the portable telephone set is inserted and fixed to the projection part 103 to be supported by the mounting board part and the leg part, so that the portable telephone set can be mounted. Meanwhile, when the portable telephone set is not used, the leg is turned to be housed so as to make the mounting board part overlap the leg, so that the stand for a portable telephone set is made compact.
