Abstract:
To provide a napped fabric which contains crimped fibers in a napped fiber portion, reversibly increases the crimp percent of the crimped fibers on the absorption of moisture to reduce the heights of the napped fibers, and can consequently decrease the thickness of the fabric, lower the heat-retaining property of the fabric, and reduce a hot feeling on sweating, and to provide a fiber product using the napped fabric.
The napped fabric includes the napped fiber portion comprising cut piles and/or loop piles and a ground weave portion, and contains crimped fibers A increasing their crimp percents on the absorption of moisture in the napped fiber portion.
