To provide a standing posture retaining apparatus for the tray packing with Chinese meat dumplings which can drop Chinese meat dumplings being made and carried by a conveyor into a tray from the rotation end section on the feeding out side of the conveyor by holding them under the standing posture, and facilitates the tray packing under the standing posture.

The Chinese meat dumpling feeding conveyor 1, a dropping means 3 which works as a standing posture holding means as well, and a tray feeding conveyor 4 are installed. In this case, the Chinese meat dumpling feeding conveyor 1 carries Chinese meat dumplings G which are fed out of a Chinese meat dumpling making machine M under the standing posture. The dropping means 3 includes a vertical feeding section 31 which moves downward from a specified height position while being confronted with a rotary feeding section 11 on the front end section 1a of the conveyor. The tray feeding conveyor 4 intermittently feeds trays T for packaging Chinese meat dumplings, which are fed by a tray feeding section 5, to a position under the dropping position from the front end section of the Chinese meat dumpling feeding conveyor 1, while being placed under the Chinese meat dumpling feeding conveyor 1. Thus, the Chinese meat dumplings G which are fed by the Chinese meat dumpling feeding conveyor 1 can be dropped and housed in the tray T while keeping them under the standing posture.
