Abstract:
To provide a standing up supporting device with which a user living on a Tatami (rush mat) can stand up by himself up to the position from which he can walk.
A driving mechanism 6 for moving a supporting surface 1 between a horizontal position P for supporting a user lying near the floor F and a standing position Q for supporting the user in a standing position from which he can walk is provided only on one side of the supporting surface 1 and the other side is left open in order that the user can easily transfer to the supporting surface 1.
