Abstract:
To suppress operation noise while securing productivity of stapling operation.
The stapler driving device includes a motor, and the magnitude of the noise is measured that is generated outside of a casing of the post-processing device having a stapler performing stapling operation for inserting a staple into a bundle constituted by a plurality of overlapped recording media and bending the staple by driving force by rotation of the motor. The smaller the magnitude of the measured noise outside of the casing is, the lower the electric power is supplied to the motor of the stapler by an electric power supply part for supplying the electric power to the motor of the stapler in the post-processing device.
