To provide a stapler with a run-out of staple informing function allowing to know a necessity of charging staples before idly stapling.

In the stapler formed by turnably fitting, at least, a staple magazine 20 and a handle 30 to a rear end of a base 10, a front end surface of a pusher 25 for pushing the staple 21 is provided with a lower projecting piece 26 for abutting on leg parts of the staple 21 and an upper projecting piece 27 for abutting on the top part thereof. A driver 31 for driving the staple 21 is provided with a notch 32 at a position opposite to the upper projecting piece 27 when coming close to the pusher 25. Furthermore, both side surfaces of the pusher 25 are provided with an operation lever 28 capable of moving the pusher 25 from outside even in the condition that the base 10, the staple magazine 20 and the handle 30 are closed.
