Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely and highly accurately bind a paper bundle many in the binding number from a paper bundle small in the binding number.SOLUTION: A stapler 1 comprises a clincher 20A for bending a leg part of a staple of penetrating through a paper bundle. An upper end part of the clincher 20A is provided with a clincher groove 210 enclosed by a front wall part 212, a rear wall part 214, sidewall parts 216 and 218 and a bottom surface part 220. The clincher groove 210 comprises wide parts 230 and 232 provided in an end part in the lateral direction and a narrow part 240 provided in a central part. The wide parts 230 and 232 are regulated by a width W1 in an area for picking up the leg part of the staple of entering into the clincher groove 210 by penetrating through the paper bundle in binding processing time of the paper bundle. The narrow part 240 is constituted in a width W2 narrower than the width W1 in the longitudinal direction of the wide parts 230 and 232 in an area for guiding so that the leg part of the staple bent by penetrating through the paper bundle, is not dislocated in the longitudinal direction of the clincher groove 210.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
