Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a star wheel capable of protecting a star wheel body and a peripheral machine and protecting conveyed material itself.
SOLUTION: Each conveyed material holding plate 7 is independently for each storing recessed part 6, and is individually supported between a center support table 4 of a shaft core of the star wheel body 3 and each holding plate 7 so that each holding plate 7 is individually movable in the radial direction of the star wheel body 3. Each support mechanism 8 has a torque limiter 13 that connects or disconnects a coupling state between the conveyed material holding plate 7 and the center support table 4 in response to largeness of an axial pressing force of the support mechanism 8 acting on the center support table 4 from the holding plate 7 side and shields the coupling between the conveyed material holding plate 7 and the center support table 4 in an overload occurrence at the time when the largeness of the pressing force exceeds a set range.
