To provide a starch paste composition absorbing formaldehyde emitted from something other than an adhesive composed of the composition itself, excellent in absorptivity of formaldehyde even after the composition has been solidified, not reemitting formaldehyde once absorbed and excellent in adhesive strength, durability or the like as well.
This starch paste composition features contains an absorbent for formaldehyde.
