Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent an automatic transmission automobile from abrupt start even when its driver conducts erroneous operation of a pedal after the automobile travelled during engine warming up and stopped for a while.
CONSTITUTION: A control unit 1 for deciding predetermined conditions of a vehicle based on input signals from a shift range sensor 2, an engine r.p.m. sensor 3, an automobile speed sensor 4, an accelerator opening sensor 5, and a cooling water temperature sensor 6 which detects cooling water temperature is provided. Braking force is increased with the lapse of time by means of an actuator 7 which is driven by output signals from this control unit 1.
