Abstract:
To more promptly stabilize a combustion state at the start of an internal combustion engine, in regard to a start control device for the internal combustion engine.
Average angular acceleration of a crankshaft during a period of an expansion stroke of each cylinder is calculated after the expansion stroke. Operation of an air amount adjusting means is controlled by comparing the calculated average angular acceleration with a predetermined target value with respect to each cylinder to reflect the comparison result on intake air amount of the cylinder in an intake stroke at this time.
