Abstract:
To shift a state of supplying electric power to an outboard motor to a state of stopping electric power supply to the outboard motor without starting the outboard motor.
A start control device 20 of the outboard motor 40 has: a determination means determining whether or not an emergency switch 31 is in an ON state when a first switch is operated by a ship operator; a start instruction means instructing start of the outboard motor 40 when the determination means determines that the emergency switch 31 is not in an ON state; and a stop instruction means instructing stop of electric power supply to the outboard motor 40 when the determination means determines that the emergency switch 31 is in an ON state.
