Abstract:

To keep long lasting quality and to improve safety by providing a start line for indicating a starting position.

A start mat is formed in such a way that a green artificial lawn 11 having a fixed length, a start line 13 formed of a white artificial lawn, and a green artificial lawn 12 are bonded arranging on an under-grounding member 2 formed of a square rubber sheet having a thickness of about 10 mm, a vertical length of about 1500 mm, and a horizontal length of about 1500 mm in order from a side to a direction for flying a ball without producing a space at joint sections. This start mat 1 is provided spreading on a base, a rubber tee is put on the start line 13, and a ball for a park golf is further put on the tee to tee off. Since the start line 13 like this is provided, there is no need to provide a start mark. A player does not worry about stumbling and falling down, so he can play without anxiety and a starting position can be easily recognized.
