Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starting and collecting method for an underwater vehicle, and a ship, capable of quickly starting and collecting the underwater vehicle.SOLUTION: A starting and collecting method for an underwater vehicle comprises: arranging the underwater vehicle 20 in a storage part 6 for the underwater vehicle 20, which includes an opening part 4 communicating with the outside of a hull and a closable/openable door 5 for opening/closing the opening part 4; at starting time of the underwater vehicle 20, opening the openable/closable door 5 to provide a state of the storage part 6 communicating with the outside of the hull through a water channel, submerging or floating the underwater vehicle 20 arranged in the storage part 6, and starting the underwater vehicle 20 to proceed to the outside of the hull through the opening part 4; and at collecting time of the underwater vehicle 20, opening the openable/closable door 5 to provide the state of the storage part 6 communicating with the outside of the hull through the water channel, further providing a state of the storage part 6 having a water level high enough to allow the underwater vehicle 20 to be submerged or floated, and causing the underwater vehicle 20 to enter the storage part 6 from the outside of the hull through the opening part 4, to collect the underwater vehicle 20 in the storage part 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
