Abstract:
To suppress a starting current at the start of a cage type induction motor with a simple circuit configuration.
In order to reduce the starting current that flows through a current path between a primary coil of a cage type induction motor 3 and a power-source switch 2, a PTC resistance element 4 is connected in series to the current path, and the starting current is, after being limited with the PTC resistance element 4, guided to the primary coil of the cage type induction motor 3.
