PURPOSE: To ignite a starter accurately at the shortest time by setting up a DC motor, a resistor, a DC power source and a switch in series, and installing a pulse generator turning on a contact of a magnetic contactor and short- circuiting both ends of the resistor.

CONSTITUTION: A starting circuit part 6 is connected to a compressor 1 of a gas turbine body part consisting of the compressor 1, a combustor 2 and a turbine 3. This starting circuit part 6 is made up of setting up a DC motor 7, a resistor 8, a DC power source 9 and a switch 10 in series. When temperature detected by a temperature detecting element 15 is exceeds the setting value, a comparator 16 emits a signal. A pulse generator 17 receives this signal, turning on a contact of a magnetic contactor 11, and both ends of the resistor 8 are short-circuited. Thus, a starter is accurately ignitable at the shortest time.
