To provide a starting clutch control device for an idle stop vehicle capable of reducing in-gear inrush shock during starting from the idle stop condition.
When an engaging command of a starting clutch is issued during restarting from the engine automatic stop state, engaging control of the starting clutch is performed in the following order; initial pressure control, in-gear inrush control, and pressure rise control. A hydraulic pressure in in-gear inrush control is controlled to be higher than an initial pressure and lower than a hydraulic pressure of pressure rise control, and in-gear inrush control is performed until completion of backlash elimination of a driving system including a transmission device on the downstream side of the starting clutch. Therefore, the in-gear inrush shock in completion of backlash elimination of the driving system can be reduced.
