To prevent a starting switch from being malfunctioned by avoiding the person other than the owner (driver) operates the starting switch, and to improve the security effect by preventing the burgler by a suspect intruder.
In the vehicle provided with a keyless engine starting function which sets an engine to be ready for starting on the condition of recognizing the owner, a reversing member 6 as an operation regulating member is installed between a driver's seat 2 and a front passenger's seat 3. The starting switch 9 is provided at a back 8 for the reversing member 6, and a clock 10 as another function part having the function other than the starting switch 9 is provided at the back 8. When the clock 10 at the surface of the reversing member 6 can not be used in the visually unrecognizable state, the starting switch 9 at the back 8 of the reversing member 6 can be recognized visually and operated.
