Abstract:
To provide a device and a method starting an internal combustion engine to prevent the occurrence of a delay in transmission of power during starting.
In a method for starting an internal combustion engine 1 to which a motor generator 4 is coupled to the crank shaft 2 of the internal combustion engine 1 through a common belt 9 together with an auxiliary machine, such as a water pump 5 for the internal combustion engine, the drive force of the motor generator 4 is transmitted, in order, to the crank shaft 2 and the auxiliary machine.
