Abstract:

PURPOSE: To extend the range of an air fuel ratio by way of increasing and decreasing a suction air flow rate and secure ignition by changing the number of rotation of a gas turbine shaft in specified vertical width and cycle after the number of rotation of the gas turbine shaft reaches firing speed at the time of starting.
CONSTITUTION: A generator 11 connected to a gas turbine 10 is driven as a starter motor at the time of starting. Thereby, at specified firing speed, by supplying fuel from a fuel supply system 12, it is ignited. In such a starting device of the gas turbine 10, after the number of rotation of the gas turbine shaft reaches the firing speed, startor driving is controlled by a starting rotation control means 13 so that the number of rotation of the gas turbine shaft is changed in specified vertical width and cycle. Consequently, the range of an air fuel ratio is extended by way of increasing and decreasing a suction air flow rate, the most suitable ignition atmosphere for the gas turbine 10 and the most suitable range of the air fuel ratio are secured, and ignition is certainly carried out.
