Title:
STARTING FUEL FEEDING DEVICE FOR CARBURETOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3496068
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reliably realize the starting of an engine at a value lower than the safe number of revolutions of an engine even by an unskilled operator and subsequent warming-up operation.
CONSTITUTION: A carburetor comprises a bystarter A to feed air-fuel mixture for starting to a part situated downstream from the throttle valve 32 of an intake passage 31 through a plunger 6 arranged in the middle of a starting fuel passage. A starting shaft 21 is supported in parallel to a valve stem 14 to a carburetor body 15 and a plunger 6 is placed in the carburetor body 15 in such a state to cross a starting shaft 21 at right angles therewith. A starting plate 66 is freely rotatably supported at the starting shaft 21 and a holding plate 64 is non-freely rotatably and axially movably supported. When the starting shaft 21 is rotated to a reciprocating position by means of the starting plate 66, the holding plate 64 is rotated by the starting plate 66 and locked to the lock plate 62 of the throttle valve shaft 14. When the starting shaft 21 is rotated to a reciprocating position by the starting plate 66, the holding plate 64 is axially slid and separated away from the rotation locus of the lock plate 62 of the throttle valve shaft 14.
