To install a starting pump in a position uninfluenced by heating of a cylinder by fixing mutual ones by interposing an insulator between the cylinder of an engine and a carburetor, and installing the starting pump of the carburetor in an arm part integrally extended from the insulator.
In an engine 2 of a bush cutter A, a carburetor 4 is arranged on one side of a cylinder 3, and a muffler is also arranged on the other side of the cylinder 3. In this case, an insulator 5 is arranged between the cylinder 3 and the carburetor 4, and a bolt 20 is inserted into a through hole of this insulator 5, and this is screw-fitted to a female screw part of the cylinder 3, and the insulator 5 and the cylinder 3 are connected and fixed to each other. This insulator 5 is formed in a plate shape out of a synthetic resin, and an arm part 5a projecting to the operation lever 1 side is extendedly arranged, but an upper surface of this arm part 5a is formed as an inclined face 5b, and a starting pump 6 is installed on this inclined face 5b. Therefore, influence by heating of the cylinder 3 of the starting pump 6 is avoided.
