Abstract:

To prevent pre-ignition when starting a cylinder injection type internal combustion engine.

When a high temperature starting is decided ('YES' in S120), immediate injection of fuel is inhibited by interlocking with a cranking starting ('YES' in S140, S160). After delay time elapses from the cranking starting time ('NO' in S140) or when THC<THCh is determined ('NO' in S120), fuel injection is set to be started (S170). Therefore, the inside of a combustion chamber is cooled by cranking for a delay period. Since the fuel injection is started after the cooling, pre-ignition is prevented.
