PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubrication device that monitors the lubrication state of at least one slide body or rolling body to enable supply of optimal lubricant according to the lubrication state, and a lubrication method.SOLUTION: In a state dependent lubrication device 10 of at least one slide body and/or rolling body 20, the slide body and/or rolling body 20 include at least a first element 22 and second elements 24, 25 that are slidably contacted and arranged with each other. The state dependent lubrication device 10 at least partially extends between the first and second elements, according to the state of the slide body and/or rolling body 20, and then can supply lubricant.
