Abstract:
To provide a state estimation device for a vehicle which electrically and exactly estimates an abrasion state of a brake pad, and notifies an occupant of the abrasion information of the brake pad, in a vehicle in which a hydraulic brake device and an electric brake device are used in common, and a notification device using the same.SOLUTION: A state estimation device for a vehicle comprises: operation means R1 having a motor for driving an electric brake device, and motor current value detection means for detecting a gradient of a current value until a current outputted to the motor reaches a peak value, and operating the electric brake device by a hydraulic brake device in a non-operation state; comparison means S7, S11 for comparing whether or not the detected gradient of the current value during an operation of the electric brake device is large with respect to a reference gradient of a current value at the attachment of a non-abrasive brake pad which is acquired in advance; and estimation means S8, S12 for estimating that the brake pad is in an abrasive state when the detected gradient of the current value is larger than the reference gradient on the basis of a comparison result of the comparison means S7, S11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
