To provide a new state of mind improvement agent improving a state of mind, alleviating psychological stress, and heightening comfort feeling therethrough.
The state of mind improvement agent includes an isoalpha acid, and a reduced form isoalpha acid such as isohumulone, isocohumulone, rhoisohumulone, and the like which are utilized as a bitter taste ingredient in a beer drink, established with safety to a living body, and continuously takable on a daily basis, as an effective ingredient usable for a medicine, a food and drink, and the like.
