To achieve a structure for accurately measuring external force acting between two members 3a and 4a by keeping preload on rolling bearings 5 and 5 from changing irrespective of temperature change, the rolling bearings 5 and 5 provided between a bearing member 3a made of a ferrous alloy and a hub 4a made of an aluminum alloy.
A first outer ring spacer 29 made of a ferrous alloy and a second outer ring spacer 30 made of an aluminum alloy are provided between outer rings 7a and 7b of the two rolling bearings 5 and 5. A space between the two outer rings 7a and 7b is determined based on the sum of axial lengths of the two ring spacers 29 and 30. In a temperature rise, an extent is reduced to which the space between the two outer rings 7a and 7b expands, making it possible to balance an increment in the preload attendant on the expansion of the space with a decrement in the preload attendant on the expansion of their radial size.
