Title:
STATIC ELECTRICITY PREVENTING MATERIAL FOR FLOATING TREATMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04296499
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of a static electricity in a floating treatment material used for polishing or vibration by using a material having electric insulating property as a main material, and dispersing and mixing a carbon fiber thereto in the form of staple.

CONSTITUTION: A material having electric insulating property is used as a main material. For example, it includes plastics, rubber, glass, and paper. Then, a carbon fiber is used. As the carbon fiber, those manufactured by baking acrylonitrile synthetic fibers are generally used. The carbon fiber has a staple form, and to uniformly disperse and mix it into the main material having electric insulating property, the method of charging and mixing is generally adapted. The thus obtained electrostatic preventing material for floating treatment is extruded into a pole having a diameter of 2-6mm by use of an extruder, cut into a length of 2-6mm, and used for polishing of pachinko balls.
