Title:
STATIC ELECTRICITY PROTECTING STRUCTURE OF ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006114297
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a static electricity protecting structure capable of contributing to lowering of the price of an electronic apparatus, without requiring much labor for incorporating a grounded conductive member inside a device.

An insulating component 3 is disposed so as to cover an electrical component, such as a switch or the like mounted on a printed circuit board 5, and a conductive coating film 6 is provided on the surface of the printed circuit board 5. When a charged object 7 and a charged human body come close to an electronic apparatus, since the insulating component 3 concurrently serving as a protective cover too is provided in the switch 1 mounted on the printed circuit board 5, there is no direct discharge from the charged object 7. In addition, since the conductive coating film 6 is provided on the surface of the printed circuit board 5, static electricity is discharged to the conductive coating film 6 before dielectric breakdown is produced in the insulating component 3, and breakdowns and malfunctions of the switch 1 can be avoided.
