Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static eliminator, including regulation protrusions which regulate a partition member for preventing toner from adhering on a light-emitting section, which can prevent the regulation protrusions from shielding static elimination light.SOLUTION: A static eliminator comprises: a substrate 120 coupled to a housing 110; light-emitting sections 140 which are mounted on the substrate 120 and emit static elimination light: a partition member 130; and regulation protrusions 150. The partition member 130 is arranged so as to have the substrate 120 between a bottom plate of the housing 110 and the partition member 130, and coupled to the housing 110 at a side of a base end 131 so as to form an open portion 160 which is opened by facing a surface of an image carrier 2. The regulation protrusions 150 are arranged between the surface of the image carrier 2 and the substrate 120, and protrude in a thickness direction DT of the substrate 120 toward the partition member 130. The plurality of regulation protrusions 150 are arrayed along an axis direction of the image carrier 2, and the plurality of light-emitting sections 140 are arrayed along the axis direction of the image carrier 2. The plurality of regulation protrusions 150 and the plurality of light-emitting sections 140 are arranged, in a longitudinal direction X, in a shifted manner with each other.
