To provide a static oil pressure transmitting device which can be mounted on a vehicle with improved easiness.
The static oil pressure transmitting device is equipped with a port block 10 to partition a closed circuit 18 in which working oil circulates between a piston pump and a piston motor, and a servo regulator for tilting a pump swash plate. An input shaft and an output shaft are arranged approximately in parallel. The port block 10 is positioned between the piston pump and the piston motor in the axial direction of the input shaft and the output shaft. The tilting axis O8 of the pump swash plate intersects the tilting axis O9 of a motor swash plate approximately perpendicularly when viewed in the axial direction of the input shaft and the output shaft. The servo regulator is arranged to overlap the piston motor when viewed in the axial direction of the input shaft 2 and the output shaft 4.
