PURPOSE: To enable the depth of a recess to be made small so as to prevent the drop of strength of an inner shaft by putting a recess, where a throttle oil supply port is open, in stepped structure, in a static-pressure bearing device which bears load with the static pressure of an oil film by supplying pressure oil into the space between an inner shaft and a peripheral member.
CONSTITUTION: A static-pressure bearing device for a double reversible propeller has, for example, eight throttle oil supply ports 20, which are made in radial direction at equal angle intervals leading to the main oil supply hole made in the axis, at the inner shaft 16 inserted in an outer shaft 12. These throttle oil supply ports 20 are made by plural sets at specified distance apart in axial direction. And, a recess 21, which opens to the periphery of the inner shaft 16, is made at the head of each throttle oil supply port 20, and pressure oil LO is supplied into the space 22 of this bearing. In this case, the recess 21 is made in stepped structure consisting of a large-diameter recess part 23 on discharge side and a small-diameter recess part 24 on inflow side, and the depth Do of the recess part 23 on discharge side is made in the range of 10-25 times the space δ of bearing.
