Abstract:

To provide a static pressure gas bearing spindle device capable of suppressing vibrations of a rotation member.

A static pressure gas bearing spindle device 30 includes a rotation member 1, a thrust bearing sleeve part 5 and a journal bearing sleeve part 4. The rotation member 1 can rotate around a center shaft 18. The thrust bearing sleeve part 5 supports the rotation member 1 in the thrust direction. The journal bearing sleeve part 4 supports the rotation member 1 in the radial direction. A first air-feed hole 21 capable of feeding air to a bearing gap with the rotation member 1 is formed on the thrust bearing sleeve part 5. A second air-feed hole 24 capable of feeding air to the bearing gap with the rotation member 1 is formed on the journal bearing sleeve part 4. At least either one of the conditions that the first air-feed hole 21 extends in the direction intersecting with the radial direction of the rotation member 1 and that the second air-feed hole 24 extends in the direction intersecting with the center shaft 18 is satisfied.
