Title:
STATIC SEPARATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3466044
Kind Code:
B
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive static separator in which the separation performance is improved by applying the voltage lower than in methods heretofore available.
SOLUTION: A static separator is provided with a charge device 12 for charging crushed refuse 11 to be separated, a grounding metal drum electrode 13 rotated in the given direction around a horizontal axial center on which the charged crushed refuse 11 to be separated is scattered, a high voltage electrode 15 positioned obliquely above the grounding metal drum electrode 13 and attracting the crushed refuse 11 repelled by the metal drum electrode 13, an attraction device 17 attracting the crushed refuse 11 to be separated which has been attracted to the high voltage electrode 15, a first separation container 18 recovering the rushed refuse 11 dropped along the metal drum electrode 13 and a second separation container 18 recovering the crushed refuse 11 to be separated which has been attracted on the metal drum electrode 13, and the crushed refuse 11 to be separated can be separated by the above constitution, and the crushed refuse 11 to be separated is brought into contact with the metal drum electrode 13 and flowed thereon to carry out the separation by the voltage lower than in the method heretofore available.
