Title:
STATIONARY DRILL FOR WOODWORKING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000176906
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent a hole from bending in the case of working a deep hole by installing a drill bushing to be fitted to a drill on an end of a vice device interlockably with the vertical movement of the drill, and making the drill bushing rotatable.

A wood 21 is fixed to a vice device 2. A drill unit 6 is moved vertically by turning a vertical movement handle 10 to set a drilling height position. A drill bushing follows the vertical movement of the drill unit 6 together with a bush holder 14 under the guidance of a longitudinal guide 12. When the drilling height position is reached, the bush holder 14 is fixed by a knob 19. A drill 9 is rotated by driving a motor. In this case, the drill bushing rotates together with the drill 9, accordingly the wear of the drill bushing is reduced. A lever 11 which moves to the right/left is transferred to the left, and the drill unit 6 is advanced to the wood side. Thus the drill 9 is penetrated in the woodworking face to open a hole.
